A Warm Home
Chen Xiufeng (China)
Nandagang Wetland, located in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, China, is a significant stopover along the East Asian-Australasian Flyway for migratory birds and one of the most representative regions within the global wetland ecosystem. It is home to rich and diverse bird species, while continuously witnessing the evolution of natural ecosystems and the dynamic balance between humans and nature. Building upon this unique ecological foundation, the “NANDAGANG CUP” INTERNATIONAL NATURE IMAGING WEEK invites photographers from around the world to use visual storytelling as a medium to capture and share the stories of nature and life.
This competition features three categories: “NANDAGANG WETLAND BIRDS,” “WETLAND LANDSCAPES,” and “ANIMALS & NATURE.” Beyond the visual beauty captured through photography, we place greater emphasis on how each work uses authentic observation and artistic expression to reveal the understanding, coexistence, and protection between humans and the natural world. Photography is a universal language that transcends borders. Through this event, we hope to open a window for Nandagang to engage in dialogue with the world, inspire greater awareness of biodiversity and wetland conservation, and work together to protect our shared future.
